Le Méridien Noumea calls on its French heritage to revisit Pétanque. Originally from the south of France, Pétanque is one of the few regional sports played all over the country & now internationally !
To start playing, you simply need to find a group of friends with one or two team mates. Play in teams of two, three or even in a tête-à-tête, one-on-one. Larger teams are also possible if you wish to join up with neighbouring players.
Our Pétanque sandy pitch welcomes you by Le Faré beachfront restaurant. OBUT pétanque sets available at the hotel.
Le Méridien Sparkling adds a modern twist to the timeless sophistication of the classic aperitif hour.
Featuring an array of effervescent offerings and spritzers, this cocktail programme brings a spirited flair to gatherings at Latitude 22 & to your pétanque game.
Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts has partnered with French Bossa Nova band, Nouvelle Vague, to set the tone for a perfect Sparkling evening. A music collective, Nouvelle Vague features ever-changing lead singers that provide a unique sound inspired by each destination they perform at. Translated literally as “New Wave” in the French language, the group’s music pays homage to the swooping elegance of Bossa Nova, melancholic melodies of the “New Wave” era and 1960’s French cinema, providing a modern twist on the classics.
